Chrissy Silver

Chrissy completed a BA degree in Art and Design at Bradford College before going on  to Goldsmiths for a Post Graduate Diploma in Ceramics.   Sixteen years on, after supplying hand thrown and highly decorated domestic ware to the retail market, Chrissy, a highly experienced ceramicist, has now returned to  building sculptural pieces, interestingly with no colour!  She enjoys the feel and look of vitrified clay.  For her it "represents the ‘found object’ we covert on the beach and want to bring home with us, or see unfolding in natural forms such as seed pods or mollusc shells".
