Audrey Hammond

Audrey Hammond studied Fine Art at the University of Reading and Bournemouth College of Art.  She moved to the Cotswolds in 1978.  deriving inspiration both from her strong roots in the West Country and from her passion for the colours and patterns of the Cotswold landscape with its ancient Salt Ways and 'high blue hills’. Mainly working in mixed media with a bias towards pastel, she has exhibited numerous times at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Royal Watercolour Society, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, Royal West of England Academy, The Pastel Society and The New English Art Club.  Her paintings are held in many private and public collections throughout Britain.
