Based in London, Andrea has been a full time artist since 2005.  She studied at West Dean, Tout Quarry and City and Guilds School of Art. Primarily a sculptor of stone, life drawing and work in plaster and clay also form an essential part of her practice.   She draws inspiration in her figurative and abstract work from the  human figure, wildlife and objects from the past and her many travels.  She is fascinated with stone and says:  “My fascination for stone is rooted in the variety of textures and colours available, the sheer scale of their history and the tension between strenghth and vulnerability that exists in every type.”

Andrea has exhibited her sculpture in galleries in London, Whitstable, Suffolk and Canterbury and has pieces in private collections across the UK and abroad.

Commissions include a National award and a prize winning album cover for Roots Manuva.
