Review of 2022

Review of 2022

This was the year of selling larger paintings and got off to a good start with a successful Winter Exhibition in Sevenhampton last February.

This was closely followed by CONNECT art fair at the Mall Galleries, London in March, where paintings by Sally Stafford, Laura Howarth and Lorraine Houston proved particularly popular

An Open weekend event for subscribers in May was well attended and fun.

FRESH ART FAIR, Cheltenham was in June this year, and while it couldn't replicate the success of August 2021, it was nevertheless inspiring and worthwhile.

After a summer collection online, a new departure was a themed exhibition ‘Where Land Meets Water’ in Montpellier, Cheltenham at a pop up gallery.  It sadly coinicided with a week of national mourning for our dear Queen, but even so, brought new art lovers to my attention, some from 'over the pond'.

The Autumn exhibition in Sevenhampton was followed by a Christmas Edit which was kyboshed by 10inches of unforecast snow.  However, it melted in time for some last minute sales before Christmas.

A painting by Laura Howarth SWA raised £175 for Ukraine and sales of hand-painted birdboxes by Helen Cristofoli raised £40 for charity.

Thank you all so much for your tremendous support over the past year and I hope to see you again in 2023
