After four postponements it was so good to be able to exhibit at the FRESH art fair in Cheltenham earlier in August.
It was not too long after Covid restrictions were lifted in July and there was still a lot of nervousness about going out and about. Would people be too cautious about attending or would there be a pent up enthusiasm for viewing art? As it happened, the preview saw a sea of people bowling into the building and a steady crowd for a busy Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Most erred on the side of caution, wore a mask, kept their distance and used hand gel frequently. The genuine appreciation of having an event to go to and of the art was quite staggering and the whole fair saw 4,000 people pass through its doors over 3 days. There were plenty of sales too.
We are looking forward to exhibiting with the wonderful Fresh team once again in May 2022
