Since graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University, Charlotte has regularly exhibited in galleries and undertaken numerous illustration commissions for greeting cards and editorial projects. Charlotte’s charming narrative paintings come from a solid background in textiles, illustration and design are achieved using mixed media, acrylic, ink, oil pastel and collage on handmade or watercolour paper. She is particularly inspired by quirky, old fashioned objects from museums, shops and markets as well as by cafes and domestic environments.
