1. in Vienna in 1951, Noela lives and works in Stroud. For many years she taught at the reputable Art College there and has held numerous Solo and Group exhibitions in the area. Her work is firmly rooted in landscape. Using drawings to work out compositions for paintings in acrylic and oil, she then applies rich colour. It is this vibrancy that is the hallmark of her work. She says, “Some of my painting is moving towards abstraction, or rather, a simplification of form and content.”
